It was very cold day for October. After few months of work in greenhouse raising plants from seeds we were ready to plant them in our soil. Lots of preparations on the field and in the greenhouse depends on few next days and how weather will be. We calculated everything and load our truck with our beautiful helychirusum seeds. It was planting time.

Gras and soil had first frost and we had to wait for sun to raise and help us with our work. Friends and family helped and hands worked together to bring the work done. When I look back it was easy to plan them, even grow them in greenhouse. We were not aware what comes next and that was long fight with the weeds. We done it everything by our hands, without any help of chemicals. Four acres of helychrisum, nourished and cared by just few hands. Nature gives you always one option and that is if something is worth it has to be hard way to obtain it. Weeds grown faster then your plants and you have to work under the hot sun to earn your essential oil.

For me first few times it was relaxation to move from the office and work on the soil but when the sun comes up, game change its direction. It becomes very hard and you bathe in your sweat. But at the end of the day it is rewarding work and you can see what you have done. All weekends 3 hour travel, hard work and immediately going back to city in Monday office routine was not that hard when you have your goal and when you can see fruits of your work. There is huge work, dedication, passion and love inside your helychrissum itallicum bottle. It is not just bought on line and sell to you. It is infused with out story and we are proud for it.
